  • Opportunity to earn NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED CERTIFICATIONS like Flagger, Forklift, OSHA 10-hour, etc.

  • ASSISTANCE WITH DRIVER’S LICENSE

  • Individual counseling for PERSONAL GOALS and assistance with JOB PLACEMENT or ADVANCED TRAINING

In addition to being a job training program, The Challenge Program is also an award-winning construction company.  We bid and execute construction and woodworking projects, which provide work for our trainee crews and allow us to generate revenue for our program. PROGRAM DESIGN

  • Trainee work schedule: Monday – Friday 8 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Paid Training on crew is approximately 6 months

  • We have 3 crews working year-round, each led by a highly skilled instructor

  • Each crew is comprised of 1 instructor and 3 to 4 trainees

  • Paid training also includes education services and GED prep, certifications in forklift and flagger, life skills training CASE MANAGEMENT and job placement assistance. 

  • Trainees interested in earning a GED receive individual prep sessions during the regular work day

  • Case Management services include document attainment, legal matters, long/short-term housing, budgeting, transportation, and referrals to social services agencies.
