Vincent Hernandez, Senior Instructor / Shop Manager

Vince is the original instructor and has helped operate the Challenge Program since 1997. Vince runs the shop and manages the timber framing crew.  He is one of our strongest mentors and is a great role model for our trainees.  Vince is a talented craftsman and makes The Challenge Program a fun place to work. He does not consider himself bilingual but he is functionally fluent in Spanish. In 2012, Vince became certified to teach nationally recognized forklift certification. In 2022 he was promoted to Senior Instructor, a title to recognize his role as a managing supervisor.  He is the heart of the program.
